Omaha TweetUp & Barcamp Omaha Shirt Handout
Hey Folks-
As many of you are aware our Barcamp shirts didn’t arrive in time to hand out at Barcamp Omaha, but the good news is they are here now. We would love for anyone that registered for Barcamp Camp Omaha this year to come by and pick up your t-shirt.
And yes, if you didn’t register or attend Barcamp we still want to you come on down, have a drink, and mingle with the Twitter and Barcamp folks, we would love to have you all!
Dusty, Matt, Jeff, Megan, and Eric will all be at the TweetUp like little Christmas elves handing out shirts to all the good little boys and girls who registered for Barcamp. All you need to do is find one of us and tell us your name and shirt size, and we’ll get you a fancy new shirt.

With new developments emerging in its programs to help support the impoverished in Omaha, Mosaic Community Development will unveil its new identity during a three-day celebration at the end of July.
What: Look above silly!
When: Thursday, July 30 and last until Saturday, August 1
Where: Mosaic Community Development at 1258 S. 13th St. in Downtown Omaha

Our good friends Jeff Slobotski and Dusty Davidson at BigOmaha were kind enough to sponsor this OmahaTweetUp. For those of you who are not familiar with Big Omaha head on over to BigOmaha.com and check it out, its going to be an amazing event with great list of speakers and guests. Dusty and Jeff will be on hand to answer questions about BigOmaha and let everyone know how great the event will be.
The TweetUp is going to be Thursday, April 9, 2009 roughly 5:30 - 9 p.m. at Nomad Lounge 10th & Jones Street.

Thanks to everyone for coming out to OmahaTweetUP #3. We blew the doors off our previous OmahaTweetUps and saw a ton of new faces, we are calculating that we had close to 100 tweeple.
A couple of things we noticed this time around:
- Quite a few people brought non-Twitter friends,
stop it no seriously, encourage as many people as you would like to come.
- Tuesday night is a good night for a TweetUP at Fox and the Hound because its $2.00 pint night…Horray Beer!
- You can always tell when a fellow Tweeter is arriving because their is head down typing on their iPhone “Comin in door now”
For those of you interested in when the next TweetUP will be we are going to try to have them every two months or so, I believe we are looking at Nomad as a possible location for OmahaTweetUP #4 so stay tuned for more news.

A big thank you to everyone that came out to our December 2, TweetUp at Brazen Head. We had a great turn out with almost 40 Tweeple. Also, a big thank you to the talented Stefanie Monge, reporter for Omaha World Herald ( @SMonger as some of you may know her ) for her great article on the TweetUp.
Christine Pagan of Fandango Fotos was kind enough to shoot some great photos for the TweetUp which you can check out below.
Stay tuned and will will be posting the date for the next TweetUp which will take place sometime in the next 6-8 weeks.
